Run a final master listening pass

A final check is different from another creative pass. Freeze the intended version, listen without making immediate changes, and record any issue with a timestamp. This prevents a last-minute adjustment from silently creating a new delivery version.

Work through it

1. Listen from the beginning through the full ending. Check transitions, fades, clicks, channel balance and unexpected level changes.
2. Confirm file format, sample rate, bit depth, duration and naming against the delivery request. Verify metadata where the format supports it.
3. Open the delivered copy from its actual destination. Keep the approved master and a record of which version was sent.

Check your result

• The delivered copy opens correctly.
• The whole ending is present.
• The approved version is unambiguous.
