Start in Mixing when you have aligned stems and still need to balance individual parts. You can override detected roles, adjust gain and pan, mute or solo tracks, shape channel strips and buses, then export a stereo mix with mastering unapplied.
Start in Mastering with an approved stereo mix. The mastering guides cover loudness, true peak, premaster prep, and club low end. The browser Studio works on any device — no upload, everything runs locally.
The Mac app exports WAV, AIFF, AAC (.m4a), and lossless FLAC, with 16/24-bit selection for WAV, AIFF and FLAC. MP3 export is not included because Sunset does not ship a licensed MP3 encoder.
